Olympic art + storywriting

Verran Olympics

How Room 3 does fitness when it's raining

Room 3 love "whiteboard maths"

Here is Room 3 practicing some basic fractions. Miss Watson will write a word problem on the board or even just a word (e.g. "three quarters") and Room 3 will write the answer on their whiteboard. It is easier and much more fun than writing out problems in their books! In the other photo you can see Room 3 learning to solve problems where symbols represent different numbers - their favourite math activity at the moment :) 

Room 3 won Buddy Bear at assembly!

Buddy Bear comes along to every junior assembly and watches closely for students that are not only showing good manners, but are also singing beautifully. The best class get to take Buddy Bear back to their room until the next assembly. As you can see, we were very excited as we had not had Buddy in a while! Lenny the Lemur also loves having the extra company!
